Puppy Classes & Dog Training at Hall
We are excited to be partnering with dog trainer Tamika Bentley of Goin’ Muttz to offer training classes at Hall Veterinary Surgery.
We can now offer both puppy classes and scent (Nose Work) classes on-site – force-free, fear-free training for curious noses, big feelings and puppies finding their paws.
All bookings are managed directly by Tamika through the Goin’ Muttz website.

Raising Puppies: Real-Life Ready
Puppy school, reimagined – building curiosity, confidence and calm for the world your puppy is growing into.
Those first months are about far more than teaching a puppy to sit, drop or walk nicely on a lead. During this stage they are learning how to feel about the world around them, and every new experience helps shape their confidence and resilience.
Classes run on-site at Hall Veterinary Surgery, so your puppy builds positive, happy associations with the clinic they will be visiting throughout their life.
SCENT CLASSES
K9 Nose Work
Nose Work is built on the way dogs naturally use their noses to explore the world. It suits dogs of all ages, sizes and energy levels – including shy or worried dogs who find other group activities difficult.
Tamika is a Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI) of K9 Nose Work®.
MEET YOUR TRAINER
Tamika Bentley
Tamika is a qualified dog trainer with more than nine years of experience and ongoing professional development, and she shares her heart and home with her assistance dog, Luna.
Her approach is force-free and fear-free – for families who want to understand their dog, not just “fix” their behaviour.
