As part of our values in respecting our clients and friends, we strive to maintain the following standards with respect to your Privacy on the net.
On the website
Cookies. Cookies are very small files that are created by your browser on your computer to remember stuff to enhance your visit to the website. If you want to learn more about cookies and how to control their use on your computer, visiting http://www.aboutcookies.org/ might help. The cookies we generate are listed below:
- There are cookies used by Google Analytics on each page. They don’t identify a user to us, but help us gain general information about which pages visitors are reading the most, what type of browser they are using, and so on. This helps us create pages that are of interest to you, and that work for the device you are using.
- The facebook inclusion about Hall Vet Surgery’s facebook page calls facebook.com to see if you are logged in as a facebook user – to tailor the message – but that is all. It is not a “facebook app”.
- WordPress (the system we use to build the website) will generate some cookies, doing similar anonymised tracking of which pages are being read.
Newsletters and other email communications
If you are receiving newsletters and wish not to, simply phone us or email us, asking to have the newsletter option turned off and we’ll oblige. You will still be able to receive vaccination/health-check reminders.
