Surgery

We have a fully equipped surgery with ECG, respiratory, pulse, blood pressure and oxygen monitors. Our staff undergo ongoing training to ensure best practice care.

We routinely perform a variety of surgical procedures including desexing, surgical emergencies, orthopædic and soft tissue surgery.

As part of our commitment to best practice care, we recommend all pets have a pre-anæsthetic blood test to determine their internal health prior to surgery. We also place ALL surgical patients on IV fluids prior to, during and after surgery.

We have a separate recovery/intensive care area, so our dedicated hospital nurse can monitor our patients closely during recovery.
