The Laboratory
Next to the pharmacy is our in-house laboratory. IDEXX technology is used to run blood chemistries, blood cell counts and electrolyte analyses. Urinalysis, fecal testing and cytology also give valuable information about your pet’s condition within minutes that allows us to quickly know what we are dealing with and start appropriate treatment.
Pre-anaesthetic blood testing also helps us to more accurately evaluate older or high risk pets in the morning prior a procedure under anaesthesia.
For a wide range of more complex pathology testing, we send samples to comprehensive veterinary laboratories in Brisbane, Sydney and occasionally overseas.Continue onto the treatment room.
