Our endoscope enables us to view the lining of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract using a flexible fibre-optic cable and light source. The types of problems we might be looking for include things like a bone caught in the oesophagus, ulceration of the stomach lining or a polyp in the lower bowel. The endoscope also allows us to retrieve a biopsy of suspicious tissue for the pathologist so that we can best discuss treatment options to help your pet.
